2021 Auction Fundraiser for MANARC & Paws for Purple Hearts

2021 Auction Fundraiser for MANARC and Paws for Purple Hearts

2021 Auction Fundraiser for MANARC and Paws for Purple Hearts

2021 Auction Fundraiser for MANARC and Paws for Purple Hearts

      BIDDING IS CLOSED.

THANK YOU TO ALL THAT PLACED A BID!  Thank you for your outpouring of generosity.

This year we decided to do something different with our samples.  This year we decided to hold an auction where 100% of the money raised would go to a charity.  We decided that the benefiting charity would be MANARC and their community partner Paws for Purple Hearts.

MANARC, Borne the Battle is a non-profit organization operating on donations with the express purpose of providing funding to local veteran organizations and local veterans directly.

Paws for Purple Hearts offer top tier service dogs to Warriors with mobility challenges, PTSD and/or TBI. They pair thoroughly trained service dogs with their ideal Warrior Recipients.

What are we auctioning?  Most of these samples were hand knit, crocheted, or woven by our staff and used for display in our store.  They were not worn.  We use them to demonstrate the beauty of the yarns and patterns.  As we cycle through different yarns and patterns, we donate those we no longer need.

We are asking you to bid generously on these garments, considering the passion and time poured into every stitch.  Even more so, we ask that you consider the Warriors you will be supporting.

The auction will take place over Flag Day Weekend.  We thought this was fitting timing.  As we honor those that have fought for our flag, our freedoms, our great United States of America.

      Auction is CLOSED

We ask that you place your bid in the comments section for each garment.  The highest bid will receive the garment, and 100% of the bid amount will be paid directly to MANARC in support of Paws for Purple Hearts.  MANARC, Borne the Battle is a 501 (c) (3)  non-profit and your donation will be tax deductible.

If you are not local, we will ship you the garment for a flat rate of $8.00 within the continental US.

      Thank you for your support.
