198 Yards of Heaven in Noro Miyabi
"198 Yards of Heaven" in Noro Miyabi
In modern Japanese, the word Miyabi usually translated as "elegance," "refinement," or "courtliness" and sometimes to a "sweet loved one". Shandelin knit this beautiful shawlette appropriately named "198 yards of Heaven" when knit in Miyabi.
Shandelin had this to say about the yarn, "I would have never picked up the yarn to knit a project with because it's so drab, reminded me of a rug. HOWEVER, after knitting with it, I love it! It is so soft and the color way is so pretty once it is knit up. I would totally knit with this again. It would make a beautiful sweater."
